What can I tell about it? I love it! :) Latakia only. It is an older Altinay pipe and a great smoking meerschaum pipe from the past but not that small actually. The bowl is ~ group 4 and the chamber diameter is 22mm. The weight is 29,40 grams.

Upon closer inspection it is very ugly and way too light 😁

Man, I've been wanting to find a meer like this but so many of the army mounts are more medium/large sized.

Had some scale material sitting around, so I had to (yes, had to, it's the law ) go over to Spyderco and buy another mule, this one in VG XEOS. Thought I'd show the sausage being made , so to speak. I'll post more photos when it's done. Looks like Takefu basically rejiggered VG 10 to emulate MagnaCut. Hasn't been out long enough to really tell if they nailed it.

I'm keeping with the ivory theme, but this time in micarta: a Lil' Nilakka from Spyderco. This was a limited issue knife and mine is marked 520 of 1200.

That's a Spydie I remember being released but didn't pick up because it didn't work for me at the time.
Today, I want one!
I'll have to keep my eyes on the secondary market and hopefully not get gouged.

Speaking of gouged (lol) I finally acquired what has been a long time grail knife for me.
A Borka SBK-F. This design by Sebastijan Berenji hit me instantly when I first saw it. The organic lines of the handle scales and the blade.. the way the clip mimics the shape of the scales..the refined simplicity.. it just hits all the right knife buttons for me, for a piece at any price point.
The M390 blade is a chisel style with hollow grown tanto on the business side.
Minimal hardware (T8 torx) gives it an ultra clean and hard-use look while remaining classy. It's not a BIG knife, only 7.6" OAL, which is about my minimum for a folder. It feels bigger in hand.
The pivot uses a T20 torx, which I've never seen in any other knife. From what I can see while assembled, appears to run on nylon washers, which I love.
The pivot design has changed over the years, from washers to bearings and back again. I'm not sure what the year of manufacture on this one is. Maybe I'll inquire with Mr Berenji.
Anyway, that's plenty talkin.. on to some pics.
