I love seeing the handiwork of the forum members! It's really inspiring me to take a crack at it myself. Ed, I love both of those!

These pipes are amazing! :worship:

I can't wait to start making them from scratch on my own.

This is my humble contribution, just a modification.

I took this sloppily rusticated basket pipe:

And created my version of the Devil Anse Hatfield pipe from the Hatfield & McCoy TV miniseries, using nothing but an oversized Makita belt sander and elbow grease to finish it.

Not amazing by any means, but smokes very well.

Thanks for the compliments on my pipes! smokeybear, yes the Zulu / cutty was my entry for this years Kansas city pipe show. The bulldog before it was the year before. Greg Pease called me regarding the bulldog and complemented me on it and offered some pointers and critiques. Really cool guy. Hope to meet him in person some day.
Astrange1...crazy stem work! Awesome!
Lonestar cool rustication!

Here are a few of my pieces that I made.

The top two right ones are made out of iron wood, the Nose Warmer (4th one I made) and the Cigar (7th one i made). I have yet to try the cigar one i made, however the nose warmer works nice for me.

The three on the book; middle one is first one i made (sadly I used a corncob stem on it, and still debating if I want to change my first one), the right one is the second (bought a basket briar before I found where to order stems from and used it), the left one is the 6th (Its a real nice burner).

The bottom is my newest one (8th), with a bit of ambrosia wood added to give it a different look. I have yet to smoke it as I have posted in my local area for sale (just trying to make a few extra to buy more briar)

I know I'm not great but let me know what ya think.

Made this one for myself, didn't have a Canadian/Lumberman style pipe in rotation. Finished it up Thursday which was my birthday so I guess I made my own birthday present. Also my first Cumberland stem.

Thanks saintpeter I really enjoy them and I'm really tempted to try the newest one I made. I've thought about redoing the bottom of the bowl on my first one since I didn't have the proper tools to do it with. I dremeled the whole thing, but I love it only time will tell.
ejames that looks amazing, as does all the others I've seen on this thread.
I should have another one done this week, hoping a design pops in my head that I like with the blocks i have. I'm finishing up one I'm trying with cherrywood, I've not experienced smoking a cherrywood pipe before.

Ebklodt, that Prince is gorgeous. Congratulations! I've been drooling over that shape for a while and I think you did a damn fine job.

Lonestar... I have a thing for army mounts, looks great.

Ejames... is that an abalone dot inlay on the stem?

Bentmike... great birds eye on that nose warmer.

Many other skilled guys posting here, eager to see more.
