On maneuvers with the just arrived Short Army XL16 and No. 68. These are just right and the buttons are terrific! 
Well, thanks to your leadership and guidance I have both of those pipes on the way.
Here’s the 68
I’m a fan of the “regular” scaled down shorts, these are next level! Reminds me of the “Sportsman” models, which I’ve wished were still made but with more shape options - these scratch that itch! Enjoying a rare early morning with coffee.

I told myself I would only keep one but it’s a hard choice between the 87 (no surprise) and the 102 (quite surprising). I’m going with the 87.

Whatever this stem is going on will be done “to the 9s.”
Well here it is my NAP System prototype, the button is a little to chunky and the bite zone a little to thick but it smokes like a champion. Next one will be a little more refined.
I knew it. The pipe cleaner was the giveaway
Well I dramatically reduced the size of the button on my NAP prototype. It much more comfortable now.

Once the stem is bent to shape there isn’t a whole lot you can to do to the bite zone, so this one is what it is at this point. But it was really just an experiment, I learned what I needed to make one properly the next time.
