Same! We should've combined shipped to MIView attachment 222514
Couldn’t help myself when I saw they were still in stock this morning.
No doubt! The stem work looks really good on these.Same! We should've combined shipped to MI
They were only released in rusticated I believe.I would like one and looked at these on the eu site today but was hoping for a sandblasted or smooth. Passed on them earlier but they still show the 34 available if others desire...
Yep, RP is right. They were only released in rusticated I believe.
Count me among the many, I think the new rustication looks clunky and cheap. I’m not a fan.I thought these would go fast like other releases but I guess I’ve heard a lot of people saying they don't like the new rustication.
Still 33 left:
New Tobacco Pipes: Peterson || Smokingpipes.eu
Peterson has been making pipes in Dublin since 1865. The marque is best known for its muscular shaping, unique silver work, and old world craftsmanship.www.smokingpipes.eu
Yeah that 999 was the main one I would've been bidding for too. I agree that the 998 is nothing to write home about but that 106 is a looker imo.I picked these Shamrocks up. The middle and lower right are Pre-Republic. The upper left is Republic.
I bid for one pipe. The chubby 999. The others are driftwood.

Think at least part of it has to do with poor advertising. Unless you follow PPN or get the smoking pipes.eu emails you wouldn’t know they limited to 75 or part the Charles Peterson collection. No mention of them on Facebook or Instagram. No mention of being part of the CP collection on the pages at smoking pipes.eu. Even the description of them on the site is standard copy about the Premier System. Very poor job by a number of people along the line.I thought these would go fast like other releases but I guess I’ve heard a lot of people saying they don't like the new rustication.

Ah that makes sense. Well I'm not too bummed since it allowed me to get mine.Think at least part of it has to do with poor advertising. You just need one from 1988 now, think that was the year for the Dublin Millennial pipes…or have you got an few already?I’ve posted both pipes in this thread. But here’s a picture of them together, but 100 years apart.
The Bulldog is an 1898, which is the first year of the PLip.
The X61 is from 1998 and marks the Centenary of the PLip
