I have one of each and you're correct. I like these but wouldn't own one of the the threaded screw in contraptions.
Got another Mg4Si6O15(OH)2·6H2O today. Never heard of SRV. A little bigger than I'm used to, and it isn't the cleanest meer, but it smokes like a dream so far. Oh and before I even received this one, I had another on order that should be here tomorrow. Then I'll have enough for my 3 pipe and tobacco stand. But then I was debating about buying a third (4 total). The PAD is hard to resist. I blame @weezell.
They're great, they have the same mortise/tenon setup as IMP.

I only have this old goat now, broke all the rest. I dont know what it is, the only marking on it is "34" and the case is unmarked. Either way I'm not the biggest fan of a full meer, I much prefer a meer lined briar if it's to be used.
This is one of my best meerschaum pipes, and I’d appreciate any information about Cevher, who made and signed it.
Wow what a pipe! Do you have any full length shots? Hace you had it since new? I've never seen stem work quite like that one.
Finally found a Lee Van Cleef style that I liked and it's a great smoker

New arrival - an oyster-cased 1913 BBB army mount billiard. The stem appears to be (Amber lookalike) acrylic with an orific button.
