Holtorp is one of my favourite carvers and this is an amazing good job on the refurb , congratulations !A little rainy day project here to keep me busy for a minute. The pipe is marked "Holtorp, Hand Made, Denmark" in the smooth band near the stem. This is only my second pipe restoration/refurbish attempt and I'm enjoying using it as a great way to get to know pipes. The shape called out to me, so I thought I'd give it a go. The hardest part was dealing with the oxidation on the stem, otherwise, I think it shined up fairly well.

Germany that is, he later moved to England. On its way to me is this wonderful Eric Andersen "pan" pipe.
This was his first shape " the pan " and it was carved before he moved to England, so 1975-1990 .

Thanks! Orlando you are correct, it is a Trio, I was being lazy and not getting up to check. I had heard them referred to as brass bands.Wonderful Stanwells Bengel.
It is Stanwell with a brass band, but not it is not a "brass band " series one. If you take my meaning.
What is the exact nomenclature ?

I gotta say man, I absolutely love your collection. I don't think you've posted one pipe that I don't fall in love with hahaAround 15 years ago I went deep into Danish artisan pipes- Bang, Teddy, Balleby, Kent Rasmussen, Larsen SG’s, and a few others. I sold them off as my tastes changed toward more traditional English shapes. Now the pendulum is swinging back the other way, at least a bit. Here are two I’ve picked up in the last 9 months:
