I have a Danish pipe made by an American. It is a Tonie Nielsen and I think he is still in Kentucky.It is a great smoker and smokes flakes really nicely.

Here is one of my Danes, an Sixten Ivarsson designed Stanwell Featherweight 243 acorn. A great little pipe for a quick smoke.
I like Stanwell and Nording, but I think my favorite Danish brand/carver is Mogen Johansen and his Johs pipes. There has been a complaint or two about his finishes, but all of my five or six have been durable and smoke well. You get a lot of pipe for your money. I have a freehand, a large apple, a diplomat, a Dublin, and a particularly pleasing straight smooth billiard. He's just in synch with my visual taste and smoking habits. The freehand and big apple were my first Johs, Christmas gifts from my wife about eleven years ago. Oops ... and a Canadian, so that's seven.
I added one more Dane since I last posted on this thread, an Eltang dublin.

tfdickson don't post no dogs. Every pipe he shows is either something of a show-stopper or a bona fide show-stopper.
A straight grain freehand from Eriksen (Nording second but with beautiful grain)
I also have a Georg Jensen pipe (Stamped Macbaren) but I realized don’t have a photo of it. Will post it soon.
