The Kershaw Skyline is what I mostly use for plugs. Very sharp and light weight.
Every day carry is my Leatherman. Nothing fancy, but the screwdrivers are super handy.
I mostly use this IKEA kitchen knife:
Water spotted Ginsu Chikara 7" cleaver cuts ropes and plugs with ease at home. On the go, Spyderco Persistance G-10. The ease and precision of the cleaver make me want it be my out and about tool, but considering we have to wear masks in public, I suspect it might not be the best look.
I always carry a knife with me. But Carter hall doesn't require one for prepping.
BladeHQ/Knifecenter are two large retailers with a broad selection/easy browsing for all audiences.
There's a ton of more niche-focused sites for folks with a specific target....but the two above are a solid place for covering all bases/have rock-solid service.

I use a Victorinox like peregrines uses. It has the sheepsfoot single grind blade and it works the best, but I, too, have a couple others that I sometimes use...both are Damascus blades and does a fine job on plugs and rolls and whatever needs slicing up.

More often than not I just use my edc knife. Benchmade bugout.
I don’t make folders, so a Mini Griptillian is my EDC folder. The Axis lock just can’t be beat for one-handed operation.
My Benchmade Griptillian is my EDC. Been with me for years. It’s a bit large, but I’ve gotten so used to it, I’ve yet to swap it out with the mini that I bought to replace it.
I have a mini grip I like as well, but that bugout is so thin and light. I just can’t stop carrying it. I put a titanium backspacer in it for just a touch more rigidity. I can’t think of a more purpose built edc for me.
