Disregard previous post, there's a new knife in town. D'oh!GEC or Benchmade.
Here's one I got on a recent trade that I didn't know I needed until I had it in hand (usually not a multiple blade guy).
I didn’t know I needed those until I saw them. Very nice.I smoke a lot of twists and plugs. The heavy blades on these friction folders do the trick. Made from VW leaf springs - you have to love that German steel!

The Skyline is my EDC knife - lightweight and well built. I've got the damascus one that tends to rust a little, but I keep it rubbed off and oiled. The Kershaw Skyline is what I mostly use for plugs. Very sharp and light weight.

I’ve got one of these too. Great knives.Opinel no.8 Black. Don’t mess tobacco that require cutting that often, most of the time I just use my hands. This is what I’ve used when I feel the need. At the end of the day it’s a really nice knife that doesn’t doesn’t make people feel bad about how nice it is.

These douk douk knives are sharp but god are they cheaply made. Not so much my tobacco knife as my pocket knife. A Douk Douk I picked up a few weeks ago at Lee Valley Tools. Haven't cut any plugs yet, but I'm sure it will work fine.
