I smoke a lot of twists and plugs. The heavy blades on these friction folders do the trick. Made from VW leaf springs - you have to love that German steel!

Opinel no.8 Black. Don’t mess tobacco that require cutting that often, most of the time I just use my hands. This is what I’ve used when I feel the need. At the end of the day it’s a really nice knife that doesn’t doesn’t make people feel bad about how nice it is.

I didn’t know I needed those until I saw them. Very nice.

Not a knife, per se, but I really like using these Lamson scissors. They are high carbon stainless and come apart for washing.

The Kershaw Skyline is what I mostly use for plugs. Very sharp and light weight.

The Skyline is my EDC knife - lightweight and well built. I've got the damascus one that tends to rust a little, but I keep it rubbed off and oiled.

Picked this up at Diebels Pioe Shop in KC 47 yrs. ago. Its silver clad. Bottom of tamper came off, so replaced it with a 71 silver Roosevelt dime.

I recently picked up this Wilkinson Sword Pipe tool, it was brought as a Xmas present for someone in 1974 put in a drawer and forgotten about for 48 years.
It’s never tasted tobacco yet.
It’s not fer eatin’...just fer lookin’ through.

These douk douk knives are sharp but god are they cheaply made.

I like this Old Bear for shaving plugs, cube cutting flakes, and general carrying.
Mostly use a double guillotine cigar cutter for coin cutting ropes/twists. And this ol' badboy comes out when I want to slice a plug into perfectly consistent flakes while at home.

I use an Opinel No. 8 for my ropes and plugs. I have my name on the other side of the blade and it's a great knife!
