Eaglerico that's a good question:
Lawrence can you post some tips on how to find a member by searching for them in the members section.
I'll try. :D
If you click on the "Members" tab at the top of any page, it will take you to the
Members Directory.
Members are listed by "latest activity" first.
So, if you want to friend everyone you can send requests page by page until you reach the member that has the oldest last post.
However; there is the categorization by first letter of the Member's first "real" name.
E.g. if you click on the letter "L" you'll find the Cortezattic and Pstlpkr are listed there.
Pstlpkr is of course is your's truly. This will require a bit of searching through to find who you are looking for.
There are currently 18 pages of "L's".
Now there are a couple of different ways that I search for members and some of their past postings.
1) I will sometimes just click on the "Members" tab at the top then either "copy/Ctrl-V" or type the Member's Screen Name after the "/" in the address bar.
e.g. http://pipesmagazine.com/members/pstlpkr
This will bring you to the "Magazine" side Member's Profile Page.
(
This is a bit more complicated)
2) I will go to the "Forum" main page.
Select a Forum Post at random.
Click on a any one's Screen Name under an Avatar.
When on that random Member's Forum Profile page I'll either "copy/Ctrl-V" or type the Member's Screen Name (that I'm trying to locate) after the "/" in the address bar.
http://pipesmagazine.com/forums/profile/pstlpkr
Hit Enter
That will take you to the desired member's Forum Profile Page.
This one is particularly useful if you wish to revisit an older post made by them. However; it is limited and won't show every sting that Member has posted in.
For example: Forum Profile page only goes back 3 weeks for replies and a year for started strings.
Of course if you can just click on the Member's screen name in a Forum and it will take you their Forum Profile Page as well.
I hope that will provide something you can use.
Searching for Members can be a bit... interesting.
PS
Another couple of things of worthy of note about the
light gray links at the top of "Members Directory" page:
A) If you click on the light gray "Members Directory" link: It will take you to the "Main Forum" page.
B) If you click on the light gray "Find Members" link: It will take you to the "Pipe Events" page.
