Most definitely! Blood Red Moon really is the king of cherry aromatics in terms of flavor if you ask me. I've yet to find any cherry blend that tops it's sweet cherry cordial flavor, I just wish it had a little more Vitamin N.

Would it be possible to add a little strong tobacco or would that mess up the flavor profile for you?

Ahhhh. Sweet mail call. Restocking the DCC. Finally got my hands on some Rouxgeroux and a few other blends I’ve wanted to try. Back to Amazon for some more jar ordering.

My take, after one bowl fresh out if the bag: it’s pretty tasty.

I do not possess a cultured palate, so I’ll be brief and general.
I do like the smoothly sour (yet not vinegary) note of the red Va, and the perique is very smooth and flavorful rather than just being “in your face” peppery spice forward.
Surprisingly mlld on the retro.

Surprisingly smooth is my overall impression, and the balance of the blending is top notch.

And another for today...on a road trip to DC, so I stopped in at Boswells's in Alexandria real quick. Grabbed 2 oz of Old School and some pipe cleaners. Old School is a good Burley blend with a touch of Virginia. Had a good talk with JM. 50 years of experience is worth listening to when you have a chance.
