It does just look that old to me. Totally not worth banking on, but that's the kind of oxidization and patina and sorta worn down rim that seems to be most common from pipes that old. Though I bet if I got scientific about it I'd be more likely to say that's common on pipes that age but also found on newer and much older ones too. It’s Republic era, looks like a 69. Better pics of the whole pipe would help.
My apologies, I tapped on the photo and got the side profileHow about a whole side profile pic
Peterson rusticated 307 system pipe, from the early 00s. What did I win ?Until we get a response from the OP, could anyone help to identify this Peterson pipe of mine? I know that it was made in Ireland, but that's as far as I can get..I don't have any more photos. View attachment 287503View attachment 287506View attachment 287505

Ha ha, why... I don't understand... or is this a joke? I may have missed the joke part. Sorry, ha ha.
That was my initial guess but the upside down photo of the P-Lip stem threw me off.Close, it's a B42 System Standard Sandblast. I'll give you an "Attaboy!" for the effort View attachment 287960
My guess is its an older version of the Aran rusticated 69 bent billiard from the 70s or80s :
