As an American who loves ice hockey, I am part of a community that realizes that our sport isn't popular enough to get an attitude and push people away. When someone gets heat for being a "bandwagon fan" or some such thing, others are quick to step in and tell this person, "Hey, glad you are digging hockey, its the best, we are happy you are here." I guess my peeve would be when I see people throwing shade at cobb smokers, or aromatic smokers, or some such. My first thought is always "Really, we have enough pipe smokers on the planet that we can afford to push some away? I didn't realize tobacco smoking had become so much more widely excepted than it was 24 hours ago..." Still, I tend to look down my nose at vapers, so who am I to talk?

When I order a new blend that has glowing reviews and sure enough, the following day a 1 star review comes through saying its horse S**T and they dumped the tin after a few puffs

Also when suggestions for best blends come up and someone says "I recommend my all time favourite blend, its called, Eric Heisenberg No 972 private stock and I got it from a tobacconist while on a trip to Transylvania"

I was the First AD on the Foo Fighters TIMES LIKE THESE music video, loved that band, Dave Groll is fantastic to be on set with. Most of my feature credits are schlock you either haven't seen, or did see and wish you hadn't ;D
Wow. He does seem like a pretty decent guy over all. And never underestimate the power of schlock. Sometimes you see something so mind numbingly ridiculous that it's almost sublime. You know that moment where your mind is blown that a whole group of people created something like that. I promise I won't make fun unless it's Combat Shock.

When my buddy takes his pipe out of his mouth at the end of his smoke and bangs it on the concrete floor or the arm of his wooden chair to get the last remaining bits of ash out. His once smooth billiard looks “rusticated” from banging it on concrete. Oh well... it works for him.

If you’re going to post a review, please mention the aging associated with the
Great thread! It's always great to make a list of everyone's buttons so we will know just how to piss them off, ha ha.

Well it seems you can like or dislike just about anything and it makes somebody mad lol. The breath method, bent pipes, paying $12 for a tin of tobacco, ffs.

People who start threads about 'Pipe Cleaners'. I have seen someone here who admits to washing and then reusing pipe cleaners. I have visions of a laundry line somewhere with socks, under wear and then pipe cleaners. I know we are all meant to be 'Green' and suddenly become pseudo Canadian about our environment but washing pipe cleaners seems a little extreme. Everyone here knows pipe cleaners grow on trees and the harvest hasn't been blighted since The Great Pipe Cleaner Famine of 72!

Recycling them for the metal, is of course, a different story ;)

Piping Pet Peeves ... I think this thread is mature enough to hear that my pets get really peeved when the blend is too moist and they have to keep relighting.

funny thing is they're probably doing the opposite of being green. As a janitor I had to learn about recycling and reusing products (seriously it's actually helpful for me to know this stuff), but one of the things I've learned is people often making really bad choices these ways because for many things it takes more resources to reuse then just buy new ones. And I can't think of any non intensive way to clean a pipe cleaner. Good intentions and all of that.
