If I were ever to give STG, money again, I would only do it over the phone and through Aimee in the P&C cs department.

You could also file a consumer complaint with PA Attorney General (Consumer Complaint - https://www.attorneygeneral.gov/submit-a-complaint/consumer-complaint/).

All Attorneys General offices offer voluntary mediation for consumer complaints regarding goods and services. Since the AG complaints ofter go to someone at corporate, you may have better luck.
Hmm... another great idea...

It is really unfortunate so many members have had problems with P&C. I have purchased from P&C for many many years and have never had any problems. I guess maybe it depends on which day you place an order (luck of the draw 😀).

It's very unfortunate actually. There was a time when P&C was one of the most recommended sites on the forum, right up there alongside Smokingpipes. That should tell you how far they've fallen. I've personally had no major issues with them other than less than stellar packaging procedures. But it's hard to look past all the problems others have had. Makes it feel like it's only a matter of time before my luck changes for the worst.

If she’s just a CS phone jockey, then she’ll do as she is told, not tell them what to do.
Don't know if it was her I dealt with during my literal last fiasco with P&C. but when I finally reached a human there after my pipe order hadn't been shipped after a 3 week wait, she said she'd tell management I paid for the product so ship it out. It did shortly thereafter.

If this is the same Aimee that I'm thinking...she IS the best of the best. (I don't know any other Aimee's in the Pipe community eh hem circle, that spell the name that way.) There may be hope yet!

Unfortunately, STG’s problems at P&C are systemic, well rooted and part of the culture. A friendly CS person is always appreciated, but they aren’t the ones to tell management what to do.

I‘ve ordered from P&C for over a decade. No issues. Yes, I know others have had issues. But then, I have a fairly low bar - which means I am content with most things and never seem to be bothered if things go less than expected. Par for the course. Orders come - sometimes slowly. Prices on some pipes I’ve ordered were fair enough. If you’re looking for something better than mediocrity - knock yourself out. That ship has sailed.

I have only placed a few orders with P&C so far, but I've never had a problem either. I think people who have bad experiences are far more likely to post about it/tell others, than people who have good experiences.

Slow shipping,out of stock items and poor CS is one thing but when a company charges you for items they do not ship is quit another. I believe several have posted similar situations. I can handle slow shipping and sub par CS as long as I get my item. I have never had a problem with PC, however some of the posted nightmares make me concerned to make another order.

I returned a Nording Hunter that never got refunded...
After at least half a dozen CS claims over nearly 5 years I threatened them with a BBB filing... twice. The 2nd time finally came thru last month... don't give up.

Now I wonder how many years it'll take to be recompensated for the smashed jars in my last order... but at least they were "free" 🙄

Their website is garbage too. They only keep your order info for a couple years before deleting it (probably because it would give too much material for disputes).

I'm glad they finally "made it right" but now that they will have no differentiating factor or blends (except the Stanwell and Bjarne/Viking pipe lines) personally, I will be keeping it toward SP and the boutiques for any purchases going forward, even if they're Lane/STG products...
