Nah, just be glad you've got tobacco information online. When I first started, the internet was still years off.

yeah when I started people said there are two types of tobacco Aromatics (normal) and English (not aromatic). And if you smoke both in the same pipe something horrible would happen. And you haven't really smoked a pipe until you have smoked a Peterson. Honestly I think I've learned more about pipes being here then I have anywhere else. Well anywhere aside from smoking a pipe and figuring things out myself.

I agree that's why I'm glad I found this forum! I also had nobody to teach me or smoke with. And yes several Peterson pipes too. But one pipe I don't have is a Dunhill, I hope one day I can...

When I first started, aromatics were latakias and Orientals while today's aromatics were called flavored.
