Thanks guys! Taking the pictures took a lot less time than processing them (i.e., resizing, combining and uploading).

After searching for the right "poker" i decided for this one:
Sara Eltang Sandblast Poker

(From http://www.scandpipes.com/, Mr.Per Billhäll was a real pleasure to deal with, strongly recomended.)
Ready to be filled with Chelsea Morning, first bowl ever with this tobacco.

Also a lighter i bought recently, IM Corona Old Boy.

Nice looking pipe Vitor
I've been wanting to get a poker. Seems like it would be a great pipe for working out in the yard or in the garage. I think I'll probably go for a slightly lower grade than an Eltang for a "working" pipe though :)

I just finished uploading pictures of all of my pipes.

The only pipes I didn't take photos of are my Missouri Meerschaum Pipes, I have around 7 various MM pipes. They are cobs and Maple Hardwood.

Nice looking pipes Bob! I especially like the Karl Eric & Luciano bulldogs, as well as the Nording Freehand (the one near the bottom)!

Thanks Bytor!
I also like the look of the Nording at the bottom over the one with the white stem. Although they both are pretty good smokers, the one with the white stem is a little beaten up.

The reason that I bought the one with the white stem is;

I was at a B&M one time and the lady who was working there was telling me about some pipes that they had in the back for a few years. They were pipes that customers had brought in for repairs and had never picked them up. She wanted to know if I wanted to take a look at them and I said 'sure'. When she brought them out I noticed the Nording right away because the stem was brand new. I Looked it over and although it was a little beat up, it was still in overall good condition and had been cleaned and had a new stem put on it.
I asked her how much they wanted for it and she told me they just wanted to get the repair bill money for it. I asked her how much and she said $20.00. So I bought it. $20.00 for a Nording Freehand is a great deal IMO. You can barely get a Dr. Grabow for that kind of money these days.
That is how I came to own that pipe.
(EDIT: I had typed: "$20.00 for a Nording Freehand is not a great deal" I meant to say that it is a great deal. I fixed it.)

The Ropp and Jake Hackert pipes or way cool. I see an ebay Ropp in my future and I emailed Jake to inquire about an antler poker.

Unclearthur,
I really love the Art Nouveau rack with the face carved on it! As I understand it, racks to hang pipes upside down are common in Europe. Of course there are naysayers on both sides of the pipe racking argument, but I've been thinking about someday getting a coated wire rack similar to a shower caddy type thing and putting pipes in it after they've dried overnight. The Abbey racks I have now don't offer much elbow room, so to speak.
Do you notice any difference? Something tells me if there is one, it'd be slight.

I notice no real difference. I use the hanging racks exclusively for clays. They are absorbent enough that it's hard to get them wet. Besides the pretty carved lady Is so nice! And yes that rack is carved from one piece . I can't begin to imagine what one would cost today new.
