Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how I open them. That is some good news. Are all HU cans cutter tops ?

If not cutter tops, how do you open them ?I have probably 30 HU blends, including Zulu, and none of them come in “cutter tops”. They’re either normal flat, round tins or “paint can” style.
The same way I’d open a can of paint. If not cutter tops, how do you open them ?
I have to revisit this one.Fairly fresh Bayou Morning from 2022

Mcconnells Latakia Flake. This blend is bold, strong, and floral. Like a lakeland dark-fired blend.
Reminded me of OGS in the 3.5oz size. One big strip of tobacco.Needed to try something new!
HU dockworker.
This flake is simply one long folded flake lol, weird. Its also quite dry.
Let's smoke this badboy.

I could smell the Latakia from here. lol
Are the HU tins vacuum-sealed ?I've never seen an HU cutter top. Does the can you have look like this? If so it can be opened with a knife and while not ideal for long term storage, they do keep the tobacco pretty fresh for a while:View attachment 314077View attachment 314078
Cutter tops usually look something like this, and once opened can't be resealed at all (note the little 'click across' blade on the inside of the lid):View attachment 314079View attachment 314080
I don't think so, at least not these 'paint can' style ones. Their normal tins are vaccum sealed. Are the HU tins vacuum-sealed ?
That was my first go with it and its a pretty decent VaPer, not my favorite though.I have to revisit this one.
I have this in my cart out of sheer curiosity. I'm intrigued by and ingredient list of dfk, latakia, and cavendish. How is it Lakeland? Will I have to dedicate a pipe or another kind of way? Thanks!View attachment 312893

A lovely under-the-radar blend, probably my favorite non-flake VA. Enjoy!Ashton Gold Rush, a light Va with honey and lemon. An easy smoke, maybe about the same or less flavoring as OGS.

No, it's just slightly floral, not intense like many Lakelands, it's more sweet. The latakia and Kentucky are the stars with a nice sweetness coming through with the cavendish Virginia. The topping just boosts the tobaccos in a good way. It has nice nicotine and nice latakia flavor overall. The Kentucky works well with the lat. Ta! If you ever, ever see it back in stock, Germain Gold Leaf, buy at least 3 tins. It's sweetened light Va, a (very) broken flake, very subtle and, I found, incredibly moreish. One tin simply wasn't enough.A under-the-radar blend, probably my favorite non-flake VA. Enjoy!
