As a beer league goalie, I approve!!I prefer Potvin v Hextall
In all seriousness though, I’d watch Probert v anybody. How could you not?
Before my time. But I do remember Nords vs. Flyers right after the Lindros trade. Not your regular NHL booing; LOUD booing. And for extended periods of time, not just when #88 had the puck. They probably had to retrofit Le Colisee with structural supports afterwards from the incessant vibration.Never happen. Just look at the Sens/Canadiens series from around 2015 or 2016. Theyhad more guys in the penalty boxes than on the benches. I also remember back in the day of the Nordiques, they played either Edmonton or Montreal, and it was just chaos. Heck, anyone remember Johnny Buyck and Phil Esposito going into the stands and fighting the Rangers fans?
Here’s the game I was thinking of, and funny thing is, this is number 8!!!! In the most penalty minutes assessed in a nhl playoff game? They had 236! PIM???? And that’s only good enough for 8th all time.... in the playoffs!!?Before my time. But I do remember Nords vs. Flyers right after the Lindros trade. Not your regular NHL booing; LOUD booing. Nords got the last laugh, even though they had to wait until relocation to hoist the Cup.
Ah, so Chris Phillips did do something other than score an own-goal to clinch the cup for the opposing team! Anyway, thanks for sharing this. Brawls like this are pretty anomalous post-lockout.Here’s the game I was thinking of, and funny thing is, this is number 8!!!! In the most penalty minutes assessed in a nhl playoff game? This is what I mean by the new "gentler" hockey. A bit of physicality and a good old brawl now and again make it worth watching.Never happen. Being born and raised in Orange County, I am a Ducks fan. But I do like the Golden Knights on occasion...and they’re in the playoffs. So I’m rocking one of my t-shirts (not gonna wear my jersey at home). This game tonight has been a goaltending duel so far.

Haha, you’re always welcome back. I’ll show you some spots.I went to a Ducks/Predators playoffs game in Anaheim a few years ago. Had an absolute blast.
Caught an Angels game the next night, and then a lingerie football game the night after that.
Wild place, that SoCal.

Being a pens fan I have a soft spot for vegas as well as numerous ex pens have graced their roster. Most notably Fleury of course, who is standing on his head once again tonight. One of the genuinely nicest guys in the game.Being born and raised in Orange County, I am a Ducks fan. But I do like the Golden Knights on occasion...and they’re in the playoffs. Did the same and caught a pens game last time i was in Tampa. Walking in there were 25 foot tall giant cutouts of Nate Thompson and Matt Carle by the doors. A couple of Alaska kids who probably smoked pot behind the same dumpsters I did in high school after practice. 25 feet tall. Amazing.I went to a Ducks/Predators playoffs game in Anaheim a few years ago. Had an absolute blast.

For sure. He can be the most quick and dynamic goaltender out there quite often. He does have a habit of giving up softies which get in his head, and he thinks he’s a better puckhandler than he is, but all that is well worth it to watch him when he’s on.He’s always a blast to watch.
What year was this? And why were you in Ontario? Sounds awesome to be able to watch a Ducks game and have some beer with arcade games. There was a little restaurant/video game place kinda like a Dave and Buster’s across from the arena where the lingerie football game was. I feel like we were in Ontario for that. Anyways, we’re walking across the parking lot after the game and this dude tells us about the restaurant and says we should check it out. We didn’t have anything better to do, so we walked over there. Turns out he owned the place and the entire night was on him.
Ended up watching another Ducks game there that night, along with several beer towers and unlimited plays on classic arcade games and stuff. It was a damn good time.
