The onsite search function relies on the OP taking the time to list key words in the dialogue box under the posting box, when the thread is first posted. Something almost none of us do. Using Google or any other search engine works great.
I'm with Toob on this one. "How do I clean my pipe?" is such a basic topic that the thousands of threads on this topic can be easily accessed in very short order. If the seeker after knowledge has a specific type of problem, such has how to free a stuck amber stem (do not put in the fridge or freezer...), which has not turned up in a search, that's different. I'm very patient with those who make an effort.

Perhaps we need a thread about building butt calluses.
