I bought one brick to try. I do wish they came in smaller 1.75 oz bricks, since my last brick lasted me forever. Am I just infatuated with the idea of a tobacco that comes in a brick? You be the judge.

I saw the release of this online the other day, but I ordered instead from Cup O’ Joes, Tabac Manil Semois Reserve du Patron.

I look forward to reading some reviews around here on La Volute.

I just Googled Ardennes Belgium, at this very moment it’s 41F at 95% Humidity.

It seems like Ardennes Belgium has high humidity year round.

It's a dry ounce though. Pure tobacco weight. That brick lasts quite a while.

in the foil birck with a tight bag clip - smoked it pretty regularly - i guess moisture in the air got to it or something - went completely foul - didn't see mold but when smoked it was deathly - ammonia, sulphur, salty garbage - tossed it and sold the 2nd brick I had in the cellar

I jam mine into a large mason jar, so never had issues. I'm surprised that happened though, even leaving it in it's foil

yeah I smoke it all the time and it lasts a lot longer then the other tobaccos I've bought the same weight of.

My Reserve du Patron came in yesterday from Cup O’ Joes.

It’s humid where I live and I also use a ‘Boveda pack 49%’ inside a ‘Sistema 1870 Klip It’ container, with the Reserve du Patron in it’s original pack.

that plastic box you are so proud of is the worst thing you can keep all that tobacco in the way you have it 'regulating' with that boveda - it is a terrible obsessive method IMO
