March Meer Madness Is Upon Us

That is a beautiful pipe and colored up quite nicely.

Thanks...but most of that is the color the pipe came. That being said, you can see how the bottom of the bowl has started getting darker than the top.

It is also a great smoking pipe. I've had it for six years now and usually smoke it once every couple of weeks.

These two have been featured heavily in my rotation and even more so these last two weeks of Meerschaum Madness.

Nate King Prince in the foreground and an AKB Floral Volcano in the background.

I've been trying to put some color on the AKB and document its weight gain along the way.

And the Nate King might be my best smoker in the collection right now.

Orlik Strong Dark Kentucky, 20115 vintage, freshly opened.

Is it Akdoula? I have that carver as Akdolu. He carved many castle pipes, all huge.

Next up, ODF off-cuts. These seem to give a greater kick than the flakes.

2 bowls a day since the beginning of the month and the pipe is colouring nicely. Actually a bit darker than appears in the picture, and a creamy hue all over - no white left anywhere.

Really enjoying smoking only one pipe - and watching it develop is enhancing the experience.....

I just had to join the madness-picked up this Tekin lattice Dublin with a silver band. Inaugurating it with some Presbyterian Mixture as I type.
