Anyone sitting on the Yuck can holler my way for disposal…I've mostly seen it referred to as Royal Yuck for many years here.
any substantiation?I have read a few rumors that Peterson's blends are now at risk as well.

That’s actually one of the few “candy store” aros (and about the only Lane) I get a hankering for.on the silver lining side, we’ll still have our Lane Black Raspberry available!![]()
Lmaoo, I've been quick to see you're my kinda chumNo need for that level of profanity here!![]()
They'd best never smoke a cigarette then. The nicotine would kill them.I've also seen a lot of people who like the taste but say it's too high in nicotine for them to handle
If it doesn't get discontinued. Looks like they're adhering to the removal of flavored tobacco movement. But I do still have several pounds of Black Raspberry put up.
Any time a blend is moved it gets changed.Any thoughts on it being the same or should we expect it to be diluted in the movement of production?
Well glad the stack of 20 tins I got still says Mac Baren on themAny time a blend is moved it gets changed.
They keep listings up for long discontinued products. Don’t let their website give you false hope. Sorry. I would love to be wrong.Smoking pipes always have a listing for london burley, stockon, hh rustica and royal twist. Because they didn’t remove the listing, Its like it was planned to have them return at a certain point.
STG can make a good blend when they want to. my guess is that they will duplicate the Mac Baren version. My hope is that they will add to the topping, as the Mac Baren production was very underflavored. So thoughts?
St Bruno flake survived the cut somehow.
It’s currently made at Mac Barren factory. It will now be made at STG.
Any thoughts on it being the same or should we expect it to be diluted in the movement of production?
BLWB is the only Lane blend I enjoy. The rest seemed cased to within inches of being confectionary. That’s actually one of the few “candy store” aros (and about the only Lane) I get a hankering for.

Some say the flakes are more flavorful. I just attribute it to them being confident in a more restricted environment.Well glad the stack of 20 tins I got still says Mac Baren on them
Out of curiosity much difference between the flake vs RR? Never tried the RR
Dark Red and Vanilla Black Cavendish are two of theirs that I regret not stockpiling.BLWB is the only Lane blend I enjoy. The rest seemed cased to within inches of being confectionary.![]()
I‘ve opened St. Bruno RR dated 2016. They were perfect. I trust pouches more than square tins. Some say the flakes are more flavorful. I just attribute it to them being confident in a more restricted environment.
I would avoid any St. Bruno for now. STG could hardly make it worse than recent Mac Baren production.Their tins do suck. They won’t stay closed for nothing.
But how’s the flavor of RR vs Flake?
Asking for a friend.

Eh, it was a purchase before the hit list came out. Or should I say the very few survivors.I would avoid any St. Bruno for now. STG could hardly make it worse than recent Mac Baren production.
As to your question, I can’t recall the difference. I have exclusively purchased the pouches for long enough that I don’t have any flake.
I read this article and saw a couple youtube vids saying the same. To clarify, it is being said that it will only be limited to former Dunhill blends. Others have stated that it may be under evaluation for a couple years.Anyone sitting on the Yuck can holler my way for disposal…

Sutliff was owned by Mac Baren since 2010, so.....He was pushed from MacBaren back in 2021. The collaboration with Sutliff started shortly after that and ended with the end of Sutliff.
Yeah, I was being a dick.Okay yeah, well the first one was a shitshow that necessitated the creation of the second one (and the first one was actually the second one because the real first one was also a shitshow that got locked).
So I should have said "curious why that second one was shut down" -- which was started to be only on-topic questions, which Leonard voluntarily actually came here to answer. It didn't seem like it had crashed and burned yet.
I'm not sure what implied that I'm deeply affected or need counseling. That distinction might go to those who can't focus or be civil to the extent they get every thread on the subject shut down. Or maybe to those professing a total lack of interest in the subject but nevertheless keep posting about it constantly to show their superiority to those who are interested.
Some of us are just curious about what's up, and were taking Leonard up on his offer. But whatever -- seems like people prefer to endlessly ramble on about their opinions and ever-so profound analyses no matter how uninformed, boring, and/or repetitive.![]()
