mayfair70, do me a favor and gut that cat, I need some strings for my tennis racquet and nothing is better than cat gut, I am not kidding, I used to use only cat gut for a long time. I wonder where they got all those cats and were some cats better than others to gut. Yes all you cat lovers, the tennis industry used cat gut for years.
They also gravity fed those strings into a racquet and it worked just great.

Uh Harris, you and the rest of the feline lovers on this thread should have no fear. "Catgut" is simply a term. I also used catgut on all of my racquets as they were much better than nylon at putting spin on the ball - although they needed replacing much more frequently. Catgut is made from animal intestine fiber, but cats are not on the menu.
