How Much Cellar Tobacco is Too Much?......or Is It?

Not sure if it was my ADHD or just my cannonball into this thing, but my goal was all of the above. When I was buying tobacco, I bought anything that matched my flavor profile, anything I could that was going away, and anything on super sale at P&C.

Agreed with what's been said - more. I always think I'm set (currently at 160+ pounds) then I see a manufacturer shut down and remember why I cellar in the first place. I quit making super large orders though. Now I just buy a couple pounds here and there if I really like a new blend, or I just want some tins from later dates of something I really enjoy.

That's a 4', 4-burner propane griddle that I picked up years ago for cheap. The top is 1/2" thick. A real pleasure to cook on. I really need to find a stainless table for it and have a grill-type lid made to keep rain and mice out.And don’t fire up that stove it’s sitting on
Sounds awesome. I was a line cook for long enough in the eighties that I’d love to have one in my kitchen-one can cook anything on a flat gas griddle!

In reading all about how the price of tobacco keeps going up, I have become a little paranoid. So, over the past year I've been buying and squirreling away rather large amounts. A rough tally is about: 250 50gr. tins, 40 8oz. cans, 30 lbs of bulk and a few other odds and ends. At my current rate of smoking it up, I figure there is a good chance the stash will last longer than me. At least I can sleep easy now.

You beat me to it. He set the bar on here for tobacco. In fact, until I heard about Sable's FIL and his 1000 dunhills, I didn't think anyone would knock Peck off the pedestal in my mind. Lol.
Whatever happened to Peck, anyway?
