Amazing, especially with age. Very light in sauce and honestly I rarely pick up on any added scent, though I have noted that in the past I’ve had some batches that seemed to be more heavy handed with the sauce. A fantastic and often overlooked VABur!

Please be sure to recommend Westmorland Slices. I’ve requested it many times in the past with no luck but maybe if they hear from more people? I would love to see that one available to us in the States.

I think that ship has sailed. I grabbed about 4 oz a while back and haven't seen it since, even in some EU shops like Synjeco (which does carry their Cherry Cream Flake, another G&H blend that has sadly disappeared here in the US)

I noticed that too. War Horse green will have to do when I need a licorice fix.

They're just paper bags.

My understanding is that they haven’t discontinued any blends but are relying on distributors to place orders so if there is enough interest we may be able to get the US distributor to order what we wish.

I take the whole box and put it in a Mylar bag.

This is good to know. I wouldn't mind seeing the brown flake licorice and cherry cream flake come back.

I thought I was going to have a nice quiet uneventful evening until I saw this thread! Rushed over to SP and immediately put one 500g box of Bobs Chocolate Flake in my cart and over analyzed a bunch of 2-4 oz selections of stuff I haven’t tried yet. Should be a good weekend when it all arrives!

In smoked a fair amount of Black twist and I wouldn't call it flavored. Strong yes, flavored no.
