Murrays era dunhill nightcap. No I didn’t know about cellaring back then and I was to broke to cellar much even if I did.
Tinder Box Wilshire blend-an aromatic Cavendish blend. No longer smoke it or any other aromatic blend.
MacBaren Original Choice. If I wasn't set on my cellar as it currently is, I'd pick up another tin of it. A respectable aromatic that's not overwhelming.

We’ll, I bought my first pipe at the Tinderbox in my local mall. And I wouldn’t be surprised if I bought some Wilshire to go along with it. Either that or the equivalent of RLP-6.
For me it was Captain Black Original. Burned my tongue to Holy Hell.
Middletons Apple. Don't smoke it anymore. Not sure if is even available.

The John Cotton's line sounded great, so I got one of each. I started with the Number 1, which reeled me in, hook, line and sinker.
From there, I went to the Viprati, which sucked me in even further. The writing on the three tins is because P&C sold them as a "VaPer ladder sampler" from light to heavy.
I STILL haven't gotten around to the Elizabethan yet. If I ever find it, though, I'll let you all know...

Davidoff Scottish Mixture, which was honestly wasted on me being completely clueless, although I do remember it having a nice aroma.
That was about 10 years ago, and haven't had it since but have thought about it, now that I know how to smoke a pipe properly (enough) although it has a few negative reviews regarding PG etc.

Over the years the odd pack of Amphora Full Aroma, and then after a break I bought the only pouch my local shop had - Borkhum Riff Cherry Cavendish..
It wasn't long until after that "blend" I stumbled onto the forum and my first 'real' tobacco was a tin of HH Vintage Syrian.
That was about 10 years ago, and haven't had it since but have thought about it, now that I know how to smoke a pipe properly (enough) although it has a few negative reviews regarding PG etc.

Macbarren Golden Mixture, Macbarren Virginia no1 and Rattrays Red Rapparee. I like the GM and RR, the Virginia stung me like a nest of wasps.
Captain Black Gold, and hell yeah I still smoke it. That stuff is the best.
(Peterson 965, Irish Flake). (Rattray's Marlin Flake, Old Gowrie.) These tobaccos kept me going, and not abandon on the way. Shortly after I made my first order on the internet. In SP. With Spark Plug, Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding, London Squire, Engine 99, Navigator. It was a great success for my zero experience in pipe tobacco.

The first tins I bought were Orlik Golden Sliced and Davidoff Royalty. I still smoke both, but it has been a while since I had the Royalty. I have a couple tins stashed away that I'll bust out soon enough.
How did I happen along if I was here 3 years before you?? We've had the Black Frigate thing going here for 7 years. I've personally been at BF for 22.
