I noticed today that Estervals now offers UPS shipping to the USA. I placed an order and shipping cost was $10 less than DHL. So, I will keep you all updated on the process.

I have made three orders from Estervals under $200 and have not been charged a tax.
No the US does not charge customs fees or duties on incoming tobacco.
I think the difference between DHL and UPS is shipping / delivery time but I can't be sure. I've bough cigars overseas and one vendor charged $35 DHL shipping as a flat fee, but you literally got your package within 24 hours (not saying they us next day just that this vendor did and it was freaking awesome). Do they give say what type of shipping it is, next day, ground, air express, etc., ?
Edit: Wow i just looked up their shipping prices ... ooooof! Don't they have free shipping over a certain amount or is that long gone?

Good luck. UPS held my package hostage for $167 "fees" for the "service" of forwarding the FDA a mere $0.27 on my behalf. Won't ever be using them again.

Well, I’ve lived this long without HU or Ascanian#2, I guess I’ll be ok…
A used to get Estervals about once a year with bulk purchases to justify shipping and keeping the total under $300. No issue in the 2-3 orders placed, but YMMV.

I'm lucky to have The Danish Pipe Shop, where I can get almost everything, but the prices..............
DHL has always been real solid for me, usually less then a week from Germany to CT and I usually spend between $400-$500 for an order once a year. Never been held up at customs or anything either.
Update #1: The order has been processed and did receive a tracking number.
Update #2: Just received an email stating that the package will arrive Monday.
