Well, shuffled off this mortal coil, as in fell off the twig, is eating a dirt sandwich, etc, would seem to elevate beyond an excuse to a reason. Although, with some people, being deceased, a corpse, passed over, croaked out, dead, etc., etc., would not be reason enough not to meet their needs.

Though I believe his intentions were genuine, it is clear Toker has too much going on in his life to keep up with this thing. No promises, but we can hope!

Toker is a trucker? Not sure if it's still snowing in his part of the world. Not the best driving conditions.

Well so far no one has come forward and said they sent anything, LoL. I know I "disappeared" one time for almost a year. 30 days in ICU. i am hoping all is well.

Best sums it up for my absence. I owe all of you guys a huge apology and wish I could do it face to face. A multitude of things/issues befell me over the last couple weeks. Not to bore you with a lot of details I have been supper sick, down a vehicle, overworked, and fighting a bout of depression.

I have the box and am sending it tomorrow. But, I need to hand the reigns over to someone else. My hopes and intentions of this were up in the atmosphere. No one but I had more excitement of seeing this play out.

Again my pipe brothers I ask for your forgiveness as a weary old man can do when bordering serious frustration at the world.

Shit happens in life Toker & often one dump attracts another, piling on top of us until something breaks inside of us.

As someone who has dealt with depression from quite a young age, I now see it sometimes as a means to hide away to deal with whatever issues we're facing or when life just piles a ton of shit upon us [I call it 'dog hiding under the bed syndrome']
One often comes out the other side with a fresh perspective and/or the strength to face the storm.

One mantra that has helped me deal with the Black Dog is to remind myself that 'This too shall pass'. Nothing in life remains the same.

You take care of yourself & hope you're feeling better real soon. This too shall pass.

Welcome back and glad to hear you are ok! IMHO there is no apology needed. Life happens and sometimes it really sucks! Just glad your ok brother.
