Deep Dislike Of Paypal

I have used PP for selling items on Ebay and yes they withheld my money usually anywhere from a couple of weeks to 2 months for some reason.
I only use PP for buying items now and haven't had any issues, but I will continue to remain wary of them.
Trust everyone at the table, but always cut the cards!

I now use Venmo. No fees, no shenanigans, as long as I choose standard bank transfer.

Just FYI... PayPal owns Venmo. I also prefer it over regular PayPal for now, but just don't be surprised when they change Venmo to be more like PayPal.

That's for sure. You can always use CashApp I guess but haven't tried/

Yes, I have that, too. It's good for paying for stuff as virtual card (you can get a physical card linked to it as well) and they offer boosters (i.e., discounts) on things from time to time like coffee shops, etc. Cash App is owned by Square though, which some oiepl don't like for other reasons.

Nope, hadn't heard of it before, but looks like a useful alternative. However, the issue is always getting others onboard with it, or at least whoever you want to be able to send/receive payments.
