Just following this thread and reading the learned discourse on market theory has me amazed. I expect that when C&D drops its next small batch at $100 for a 1 lb brick there was be wide spread rejoicing and backslappery.
I find it interesting that the head blender and at least two other employees are known posters (that likely also monitor posts, especially dealing with their own company) yet people openly commented about paying a higher price.

How do such comments "move the meter"? I don't believe they do (at least for the consumer).

I also believe that if your first offer is accepted, then you didn't ask for enough. In other words, you left money on the table.

I'm sure the marketing department takes a variety of factors into consideration, including date and time of release, holding product back, styles and mediums of advertising, price points, volume of the release by both availablity and size/weight, and public comments amongst consumers on forums.

However, you can't stop a person from being a jackass and the internet provides a podium and soapbox.

If I wanted any blend bad enough I’d go out and get it…it’s that’s simple. As Billy Madison said “Get your ass out there and find that F***ing dog!” ?‍♂️
The only thing the gets in your way is ? & opportunity. Now folks know, if they didn’t already, that drops happen at midnight & if you’re a player for a blend…stay up till 1201. Damn, a smart fella commented that he set his alarm for midnight and pissed his wife off a little bit. ? But, ya know what…he got his.

I understand the need to bitch a little because Winter a long, ? bitch herself, but c’mon man! ☕

How dare a company provide a commodity to their customers in a unique manner at a decent price. And I was just getting used to paying more for practically everything as of late. It's outrageous I say!

I don't think the comments here have much of any impact either.1,000 1 lb units were sold and we've identified what, 25 or so members that bought a pound? What if it's 4 times that, 100, that's still only 10%. We're not as big a piece of the market here as we may wish to think we are. And from C&D's marketing viewpoint, my opinion can't carry much weight because I'm hardly the typical demographic.

Mark, you know as well as I that there are many stealth ? members that are just here for the score and not the camaraderie. ☕
