I imagine some of these threads are awfully confusing with active ignores.

It does make threads confusing, because you see replies to ignored people without even seeing the quote that the reply pertains to. When that happens too often in a thread, I just bow out.

I have been enjoying the "ignore" option. At first it was disconcerting to still get notifications that...
::ping:: "someone you are ignoring just posted on your thread."
::ping:: "someone you are ignoring just posted on your thread."
and again... ::ping:: "someone you are ignoring just posted on your thread."

I was worried that they might be bashing me, then I just stopped giving a flying f^%$. If someone bashes me, it shows more their character than mine... hopefully, and I'll let one of these fine gentlemen that volunteer their time as mods take care of it, if it needs taking care of. I don't have enough memory these days to remember who is mad at me, nor can I remember who I am supposed to be mad at. Life's too short for someone to deal with someone who is going to get mad a "words" on a webpage.

I definitely feel it can be contemplative. When I smoke a pipe, that's all I do each and every time. When I'm sitting there smoking my mind wonders and I tend to contemplate thinks.
