Pipe smokers are the most argumentative tobacco users I've known. It happens from time to time.

Its a contemplative hobby. My theory is that all that thinking time gives us a chance to compare our own opinions with those of others and to reach the proper conclusion about who is right.

I you hover over a members name you will get a pop up and in that window "ignore" is near the bottom right corner.

I've never used the ignore function. I assumed it was more of an outdated feature. I imagine some of these threads are awfully confusing with active ignores.

What?!! What? Did anybody hear something? I could have sworn i heard something.

That actually would be a great feature.

Only if quotes aren't used. Often, ignored posts aren't listed as updates.

What? Thats its called a hobby or that its contemplative? Im not sure either.
Id go for the hobby part, since there is the the fiddling with and collecting of pipes and tobacco. Im not sure what the contemplative part means myself.

Mostly i smoke outside and if there is not a person or a screen my mind just blanks and i concentrate on my breath and smoking.

Yeah im a little iffy on that myself. I do like it better than bad habit and i think tobacco puts one in sort of contemplative receptive space.

I definitely feel it can be contemplative. When I smoke a pipe, that's all I do each and every time. When I'm sitting there smoking my mind wonders and I tend to contemplate thinks.
