I'm interested. Anyone know the release date?
I believe that it is 2/01/2022, according to their Instagram post.

I think it makes sense to offer it in 1 lb. packaging. Less involvement from the manufacturer in terms of time and packaging costs.

Most people who are going to buy it are going to buy in quantity anyways. It's easy to seal up those 1 lb. bricks in Mylar for long term storage. I find it convenient.

Funny how there's always somebody who's gonna talk "smart" about new blends or market facings...

From the Instagram post, it seems like it checks all the boxes as far as varietals, St. James Perique, Smoked Kentucky, odd Oriental... all the vitamins included in most of the recent one-off small batch releases from a number of vendors nowadays. Frankly I don't see much that's all that unique about it. I might buy some so as to give it a try.

With all the tobacco I have cellared, it's just insane to buy more so I can satisfy as FOMO.

Gunna pass on this one. While I can be tempted by a new small batch, I hate going in on a pound of tobacco I’ve never tried. At least with 2oz tins you can try one and if it isn’t for you, you can sell them more easily. I’ve been pretty happy with CRF, Sunbear, Eight State Burley and From Beyond but this Folklore doesn’t sound like something I’m willing to buy especially given the “tin” size.
