From the D&C website:

"Faux Lore" represents a bold new direction us here at D&C. While smart pipe tobacco enthusiasts have long recognized the benefits of aging sealed tins, and we have responded with blends specifically formulated to be cellared for up to ten years, this is the first pipe tobacco tin offering that we know of that is fully intended to never be opened!

With exceedingly bespoke, woke, toked and faux'd labels and sales verbiage, "Faux Lore" is a blend that is best observed, rather than experienced. "As a child, one of my favorite stories was "The Emporor's Clothes" says D&C CEO Bob "Spiffy Pants" Beardhead. "While many of our customers freely admit that they buy our blends strictly for the labels and never open them, I wanted to offer a product that would free them completely from the onerous urge to actually have to smoke it"

Available in 8oz, 16oz and five pound tins, "Faux Lore" will be competitively priced, due to the fact that not only do the tins contain no tobacco, but they are actually filled with helium. "That will reduce shipping costs to both the distributor and the retail customer", explains Beardhead.

For customers that feel the need to argue about taste and aroma on social media, each tin will also ship with a scratch n' sniff card with samples of hay, new mown grass, citrus, airplane glue and grandpa.

"This will make the TobaccoReviews folks happy, setting a standard for what cranky old men should smell like"
