If you like Crooner you might also like New Market which is a sweeter blend that comes pretty dry with a beautiful mix of colors. All the Deer Tounge blends are great IMO but NM and Crooner are my personal favorites.

Is deer tongue said to be a blood thinner? I thought I read that it had some cardiovascular effect.

The coumarin in deer tongue is indeed a blood thinner. Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor, so maybe deer tongue blends are actually healthier
