I will definitely take a look at it for sure! Thanks for the suggestion!Try Ashton Goldrush. Citrus and a very faint honey. I think that it is lightly topped but with a very light hand. I could not believe just how much i liked it.
I ordered Westminster 400 Flake, Capstan, GLP Montgomery and Wessex Gold Slice to start. What did you end up getting?
+1 for Capstan and Gold Slice. 2 of my favorites. I would also recommend Peterson Flake.I ordered Westminster 400 Flake, Capstan, GLP Montgomery and Wessex Gold Slice to start.
Sweet, citrusy hay would beI am looking for some advice/suggestions on some straight Virginias to try. I just recently started on Virginias again after learning how to slow down and sip a pipe. (My first experience with Mac Baren's No. 1 Virginia went horribly wrong years ago...my tongue just recovered...) I had a friend give me a pouch of Amphora Virginia Blend and I really enjoyed that. My next one was Royal Yacht. That to me is some wonderful stuff.
I am gravitating to the sweet, citrusy hay type flavors.
Any thoughts or guidance would be appreciated!
I’ll always vote for Capstan Blue. It’s a daily driver for me.
Good choices. The Montgomery is one that does benefit from years in the tin.I ordered Westminster 400 Flake, Capstan, GLP Montgomery and Wessex Gold Slice to start.
