Any Suggestions on a Straight Virginia?

I am looking for some advice/suggestions on some straight Virginias to try. I just recently started on Virginias again after learning how to slow down and sip a pipe. (My first experience with Mac Baren's No. 1 Virginia went horribly wrong years ago...my tongue just recovered...) I had a friend give me a pouch of Amphora Virginia Blend and I really enjoyed that. My next one was Royal Yacht. That to me is some wonderful stuff.

I am gravitating to the sweet, citrusy hay type flavors.

Any thoughts or guidance would be appreciated!

Virginia No 1 Burns hotter than an acetylene torch. Trash it. Not worth the pain and suffering.

My favorite straight VA is GLP Union Square (needs a few years though) Royal Yacht is really good too as is SG FVF.

I’ll always vote for Capstan Blue. It’s a daily driver for me.

Sutliff Virginia Slices 507-C is a great tasting Virginia flake and it comes in bulk at a good price.

Just from recent personal observation, Wessex Gold Virginia Flakes would be an excellent straight Virginia for a beginner or someone starting back into this after a long hiatus.
