I think it is very functional and I have found my smiley things so its all good. I actually like the adverts since they are tastefully done and on the odd occasion even convince me to part with a few coins. If it pays for the site and then I think it is an excellent all round proposition. I like it all and I heartily congratulation Kevin on PM 3.0 upgrade!

The main thing I miss is a link to Forums at the top of the page, which I'd hit, and scroll down to read new messages.

Better still would be a link at the top direct to new messages!

The update also seems to have removed the ability to reduce the font in signatures. Now I'm mistaking some guy's signatures with their posts' text. ?

That's obnoxious. First of all, those ads pay for the running of this site, and secondly, all of the ads are relevant to what this site is about. It's not like you're seeing ads for Ashley HomeStore.
Does the site cash in when the ads are clicked on or does it when they're merely displayed?

If the latter I can see a rationale to have ads every 3 posts and as the bread sandwiching the reply box—means the site makes cash every time a page is displayed with full ads; but if the former... well, I'm NEVER gonna click on an ad taking me to SPC Europe because I will never buy from that site, ditto ads for used pipes sites. I would only click on ads when and where I might make a purchase. Normally, though, I use the links in the Sponsors list on the left side sidebar.

Where/how do you set 'Favorites"? I use Safari onna Mac.

Hmm, I wonder if browsers display differently?
I was using Firefox on my laptop, where the screen shot came from.

To set a favorite on my Android phone, using Chrome, you click the star symbol. I would assume Safari would have a similar feature? On Firefox, you also click the star symbol

I just tried on Edge and Chrome on my Windows 10 laptop, the same bar appears with Forums in black font.

How do you clear this now? Used to be all I had to do was click the notification bell and refresh. Now it just stays there.
