Well, and i hate to say anything more about this, but having been here a while this is what I notice...

Someone posts "Unicorn is in stock at Yourfavorite Pipe Supply"
and, minutes latter it is sold out...
So, the rest of the posts on the thread are...
"all gone."
"damn, I missed it."
"You lie, it is not there."
etc etc etc...

It usually disappears before I get my "In Stock" email notice. Either that or many website don't actaully ever send email alerts.

I'd post under Pipe Tobacco Discussion. I'd order what you want of it then pass along the message to others and let the UPS scatter as it will. I don't much admire blenders who do not respond, for whatever reason, to supply and demand. I'd rather find blends that I like that market and distribute so they are there for their customers when needed, and don't do a big tease. If you want a horse to ride don't chase a unicorn. But that's just me. Many find the quest central to their satisfaction, and I don't begrudge them their trials.

When I found a hard to get, I would tell a few friends and that was it. Now when a drop gets\s posted people from facebook ad reditt are all over the stuff making it impossible to find.

What boggles my mind is when the idiots announce their best honeyholes basically screwing themselves.
