With real stories this hilarious there's just no need to make anything up.
It is hard to believe people are so stupid sometimes. I realize stupid can be taken as a harsh word, but in this case there is no other word more appropriate. IMO, the judge wss very professional. The lawyer seemed as dumbfounded as the judge.
A few years ago a friend was serving on a jury. The proceedings were delayed. They later found out that the defendant’s character witness got busted when he tried to enter the building and was carrying drugs.
Life is hard. It’s harder when you’re stupid and stupid is everywhere.
