Well, hard to argue against a facebook post from the "Citizens Action Network". The last few years have proven that there is no more reliable source of information than facebook groups with vaguely grassroots community action related names.
For me, I'd likely smoke what I have and be done in a few months to a year. At that time big brother will have taken yet another small pleasure from me. Two in truth since I would have literally no reason to continue my quest to carve the perfect billiard.

I gave up weed decades ago to attend to child rearing, actually. Once I am out of the workforce and totally retired, it will prolly take me 9 seconds as well. No drug testing where I work, just don't want to yet.
Anyway, not to make it a weed thread. I always thought about hiding tobacco in a pot patch when I read that pot is very accepted in Australia but that tobacco is very regulated. Growing tobacco is illegal there and there is a blackmarket with people growing it and selling it *uncured*. People are even growing other, ornamental, species of Nicotiana to smoke.

If pipe tobacco is made illegal, I would have to be crafty even just to smoke the rest of my cellar. I have neighbours in law enforcement.
And I have neighbours who are self-appointed law enforcers (a.k.a. snitches).
Have I got this right? A country founded on its international trade of tobacco would make it illegal? Huh?
If Tobacco were to become illegal in Canada it would be vastly cheaper and easier to get.
Countries founded upon Judeochristian principles have made spreading the Gospel illegal, so why not something more mundane as tobacco?
No history of Alzheimer's or dementia in the family and they are our marijuana users.

It wouldn't change much for me. I have enough to last me to over 100 years old. What it may change is I might invest in an large, expensive safe to store my cellar in. If it were made illegal, my cellar could actually have some real worth.
