    Jim put it more scientifically than I would but I agree with his assessment. DNR is one of my favorites, but also the one Dunhill blend I will stock up on last, as worst-case scenario, Escudo is close enough I could live with it if I have to.

    Kendal Red was Gawith's match for Amphora Red when the latter stopped being sold in the UK. Idk how close it is, but I like Amphora Red and you might give it a try. Get some Amphora Brown while you're at it. I like it better, it's a more natural-tasting blend without the cryptic fruity essence.

    Absolutely. And may I add, if you want to come to any accurate conclusions, be scientific about it and try them one at a time. Changing more than one variable at a time you can't be sure which one did the trick, or if one cancels out another, etc.
