    I can hear that picture.

🎄🌟 The Unofficial Official PM Secret Santa 2024 Thread 🌟 🎄

I don't imagine there's anything in all of creation that is as bad as that looks.

🎄🌟 The Unofficial Official PM Secret Santa 2024 Thread 🌟 🎄

I shall be giving thanks that I'm not eating at your house this year! Nonetheless, Som Besths to you and yours.

    An Odd Duck Dunhill?

The "EP" stamp denotes this as a Canadian shape. For another Canadian with the same stamping, see: https://rebornpipes.com/tag/1965-dunhill-shell-briar-ep-canadian/

    Found this Soap at Lowes.

I'm a fan of Duke Cannon "Accomplishment", though it appears it's only available now as a limited edition. Still...bergamot and black pepper..mmmm.

    Any Homebrewers Around?

I used to homebrew, but unfortunately back problems put an end to that. Then I lost my recipe book during my last move. Still...happy memories.

    Your Own "Worst" Tobacco

Wilke Rum Cake. Blech. That stuff was revolting. It is the only tobacco I ever threw away that wasn't moldy. It was breathtakingly awful stuff.

    Vegemite

I'm one of the weirdos who loves Vegemite...the more, the better. If the salt content wouldn't kill me, I'd eat it by the spoonful.

HU Tobacco Coming to the States

I did see the HU blends on SP yesterday (Monday) sometime around 10:15pm. I didn't bother to get a screen shot because they all showed an out-of-stock status and I just figured I'd missed the drop. I assume they were either testing the page or someone accidentally published the products before...

    Questions on Gepetto Stem Fit.

That's a Gepetto from the original set that Ser Jacopo made for th US market. The original stem should have had the same inlay that current Geppetto pipes have. I'm pretty sure, based on your photos, that the stem is a replacement. There's nothing wrong with a replacement stem on an inexpensive...

    Geomagnetic Storm We Don't Need.

"Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space." — Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Power Matic IV Tax Beating Machine Review

FYI, if you decide to replace your well-worn machine, choose a different model. The current version of the machine you have has been completely crapified. Cheaper materials, weaker motor, and incapable of filling a tube completely. MBAs ruin everything.

    Your Favorite Underrated Blend

I don't mind revealing this since the blend has long been discontinued and I therefore won't cause a stampede, but one of my favorites has been C&D's Guilford Courthouse. Glad i stocked up. My other (in the US, at least) under-the-radar favorite was RB Plug. Also discontinued. As a favor to...

Do You 'Trust' This Style of Rack?

I was going to say, "No," because I'm clumsy and can imagine it wouldn't take long for me to crash into it doing great damage, but then I realized I've never actually stumbled into any of my table top racks. So I'd probably not buy a rack like this that that hangs on the wall, but I'd be OK with...

    Show Off Your Petersons Here!

The last Peterson I bought was a straight billiard with the draught hole drilled 3/8" too high. Which is why that will be the last Peterson I buy. If a company's QA is so poor that they mis-drill a straight billiard that significantly, and then they don't notice the mistake before they package...

Anyone Have Problems with the Microsoft IT Outage?

Every software organization has test and production environments. At properly run companies, those are actually two separate environments.

Anyone Have Problems with the Microsoft IT Outage?

I spent my career in IT (and was so happy that I'd retired when I saw the news this morning), and the following are the truest words you'll ever read about software: If Builders Built Buildings the Way Programmers Wrote Programs, Then the First Woodpecker That Came Along Would Destroy Civilization
