Savinelli Saint Nicholas 2023 Pipes are Up

I just saw this on Smoking Pipes. I am now debating purchasing one.

    Show Us Your French Pipes

I recently purchased my first new pipe, as all the others are estate pipes. This pipe is a St. Claude made in France.

    St. Claude Pipe

I recently purchased my first new pipe, as all the others are estate pipes. The pipe is a St. Claude made in France. I can’t think of anywhere else to post this as I don’t see a thread for French pipes and I’ve heard that some Dunhill’s were made in France in the 1920s. Anywho, here’s the pipe.

    New unsmoked Dunhill - 755 - 4A - Made in England8

I’ve been reading and occasionally commenting. It’s certainly interesting reading posts from years past.

Found A Barling at an Antique Shop

Do you want to sell both pipes? I’m quite a bit late, but, color me intrigued.

    New unsmoked Dunhill - 755 - 4A - Made in England8

Check Pipedia. They may have a few things on there that could help. Are you selling the pipe?

OMG! An Unsmoked 1991 Dunhill for a Mere ........

The same can be said of the rare book world.

Found an UNSMOKED Pair of 1918 GBD XTra’s in Scotland!

My recommendation would be to keep them both in the condition you purchased them in. You can get other pipes to smoke.

    Unknown Pipe

The Made In England stamping is on the briar in the photo. That’s all I can find on the pipe. I have a feeling that if smoking pipes ever put this one up for sale, they’d classify it as unknown.

    Unknown Pipe

Trying to find the maker, if at all possible. There’s not one noted anywhere on the pipe at all. Just where it was made.

    Pipes as collectibles

    That’s interesting.

    Pipes as collectibles

I just started collecting about a week or so ago. I’m in full agreement about pipes being like little works of art. I have a nice Estate Savinelli that is the gem of the collection.

    Unknown Pipe

Here is an Estate Pipe that I recently acquired. All it says is Made In England. I cannot find a makers name.

    Collecting cigars

The same thing happened to a box of Cuban cigars that were brought into the country just after the Cuban embargo was signed into law.

    Savinelli Pipe

I am now up to three. There will be more.

    Savinelli Pipe

Here you go. Pipes 2 and 3. These two are cheaper estate pipes. They have some defects, but, I like them anyway. One is a Kaywoodie.

    Pipes and Tobacco Magazine

Does anyone remember Pipes and Tobacco Magazine? I have a few issues and will hopefully add to the collection. I love looking at the various ads in the magazine.
