    Pipe ID HELP, **EL Brand/Make?

Makes total sense now that you mention it. I know theres a few Israeli pipe makers. Could this be from one of them, or is that where the briar came from?

    Pipe ID HELP, **EL Brand/Make?

Hey folks. Picked this up from a retired gentleman whose dad was into pipes. Tried to take a pic of the only lettering on it, and cant make out what it is. Any help is appreciated. Also, is that white collar part of the pipe, or did the stem snap off? It came from the guy w/o stem. Thanks

    Diamond Shank Cob Pipe ID

Did a quick wash of the stem with simple green and itll remain a display piece in my collection. Theres no way I could smoke it with so many other modern cobs I have. That amber color really grows on me.

    Diamond Shank Cob Pipe ID

Got it. Is cleaning it with alcohol/everclear somewhat safe to do?

    Diamond Shank Cob Pipe ID

Can anyone help me ID who made this pipe? Also, is this a brylon (sp?) stem? Can the stem be soaked in alcohol for cleaning? Thanks in advance

    New Pipe Racks…Opinions and Criticisms

Pretty soon Laurent will be machining 30' rods and shipping them as his customers pipe collections expand. Cows will moo angrily as his customer base grows by leaps and bounds.

    New Pipe Racks…Opinions and Criticisms

Awesome design, good sir! Dyed leather to indicate which pipes go where (green for Pete's, red for italian, dark brown for english, etc) would be a neat feature. Perhaps allowing 1 side to detach to adjust colors on the rails as pipe collection grows. If that makes sense? Nonetheless...

With the price of copper now, I'm betting you could make some bucks if you sold them for scrap

Don't Want to Spend a Lot on a Rack

Heres mine I made in haste from a free cigar box. A coping saw for the slots and hand carver for the scalloped indents.

    DIY & Field Expedient Tampers

I found a copper nail and flattened the point with hammer taps. Flat part works like a Czech tool. Only thing it's missing is the long rod, but meh.

    Working on a Carburetor Pipe

I havent loaded it yet. Retorting it is a damn mess, which is my fault for not plugging the carb first.

    Working on a Carburetor Pipe

I have a similar one, I havent touched the bowl yet. Mine has this quonset hut shaped sheetmetal screen above the carb inside the bowl. My theory is because air is entering under the hut, there shouldn't be too much gunk under it. If I had to clean it right now, I'd use a dental pick and...

    Churchwardens…Opinions and Photos.

My wife bought me a KAF pear wood churchwarden from Amazon, I really like it. It's super light weight, and draws fantastic. I like the church for a sit-down smoke sesh, you can almost keep your elbow on an arm rest while bringing the pipe up for a puff. Would I smoke it in public? Too damn long imo.

White Briar with Odd Threaded Stem Connection

How old is "old"? I've always avoided meers because they seem too fragile. Would love to get an estimated decade of when this meer was in style/sold/etc. The cheap chineseum pipe cleaners? Even with my tinfoil hat off, I'm leery of using those with the purported chemicals they contain. Talk me...

White Briar with Odd Threaded Stem Connection

Hey gang, I picked up this white briar pipe at an antique store with the intent to test my retort setup on it. I found it interesting in how the stem attaches to the shank. The insert is made of wood (the big threads are 5/16-18 so I'm guessing this is an American made pipe). There are no...
