    Wasting Money On Tobacco!!

Funny how that can happen, isn't it? You can have two blends that, on paper, look like they should taste pretty similar yet in reality taste worlds apart. There are so many tiny nuances that make such a huge difference. Not just in ingredients but even other subjective factors. I've had what's...

    Wasting Money On Tobacco!!

Just mylar or jar them up if you don't like them. Worst case it can be used for a future trade/sale/smoke if your taste buds change. I don't really consider buying any pipe tobacco a waste. Except aromatics, those are always a waste. (Just kidding!)

    I keep finding odd ducklings…..

    The Pink Stuff

My wife's used this to clean the house for years. I've never thought to use it on pipes until seeing this thread!

Dad Died Last Weekend And I Inherited His Pipes etc.

Lovely looking pipes and I'm so happy that you have them now. I lost my father as a younger man and I know myself that any possessions I have of his are cherished. May he rest in peace

    What are You Reading Now?

The Fairy Faith in Celtic Countries is great. Having lived (and still living) in multiple of the areas discussed made this an even more interesting read.

    EU Burley Blends

Interestingly, I just stumbled upon a video where a guy compares WBS and ABF and suggests that they are the exact same blend, both manufactured by K&K and sold under different names.

    EU Burley Blends

Yeah I'd be interested to know that too!

    EU Burley Blends

That's one I'd love to try, although I believe that, despite being made in Germany, Wessex tobacco is only sold stateside.

    EU Burley Blends

Thanks, I will try HB first. I'm lucky enough that if I like it I can have folks bring me some when they visit from the USA!

How does OJK compare to Haunted Bookshop? I've read conflicting reports on this so I'd be interested in your thoughts.

I, too, love Opinels. I've carried a no 6 carbon for years and my wife uses an Opinel chef's knife. My eldest even has one of their child's series folding knives. One of my favourite parts is how the end of the knife is a great tamper when shut (assuming the knife is a small enough size).
