    2016 CRF Issues

    I smoked a lot of SotE Flake. Always buy in 8oz tins. I’ve never had a moldy tin. Actually, I’ve smoked a lot of C&D blends, and I’ve only had two separate instances of mold, both in 2016 and both the times the tobacco was replaced hassle free. I’d say you are not making a gamble at all.

    Pots vs. Stacks.

    Stacks bring out the flavors of lightly topped blends, for instance, I think St. Bruno & Erinmore Flake taste best in a stack. I’m thinking about getting another one to dedicate to the Saint. Ropp has some amazing pipes and great stacks for surprisingly inexpensive prices.

    That is what I imagine Sex Panther (Anchor Men) smelling like. Pure masculine old school fragrance, not the wimpy masculine fragrances they are making these days. Civet cat “musk” and oak moss makes for a good masculine fragrance.

    My understanding is that if you made a true absolute out of tobacco and put it on your skin, it could make you very sick. The Lime & Nutmwg of that series is really good too but I love lime in a fragrance.

    Stonehaven Replacement

    Weird, Blackpool and No Name are worlds apart in my opinion. Blackpool having a very obvious licorice type flavor and No Name having a strong perfume flavor. I just think it’s interesting that you find them similar.
