My First Nic Hit
Thank god that Golden Blend isn't readily available near me. I LOVED that stuff. Believe it or not, the only time I got a big Nic hit as described by OP was from GLP Gaslight of all things. Didn't dry it enough, puffed and torched it like a coal furnace, and smoked it out of a giant MM...- spicy_boiii

I have a 601, which is like a magic pipe. It smokes everything perfectly. I have a new 673 that's needs to be broken in, a Roma Lucite. Definitely looks good, I have high hopes. Challenge was the butter I ate growing up. It is unique from what I remember in that it had more fat. On the west coast (as I'm sure anyone around a dairy or cheese making area) we have alot of options of good butter, but I usually just get the Kirkland brand stuff at Costco.- spicy_boiii

Bummer. Rimboche AB being canceled does not surprise me due to it containing, "Dark fired tobacco processed with a method like that of Perique". But Picayune? I think that is the most notorious D&R pipe blend. I probably only have about a pound and a half left too...- spicy_boiii
