Mississippi River
I had been disappointed in this blend...I found it to be muddy and bitey, especially the first part of bowl. There was also an oily character to the smoke. I managed to smoke 2 pipes this evening. McClelland's Tudor Castle in my pearwood bent author - Paired with a Cornona with a lime wedge My local B&M's cherry and raspberry cavendish in my Mastersen burl no. 29 with a delicious ephemere apple beer.- cgrd

Best way to fix a loose fitting stem?
If you can, find a local beekeeper in your area (check at farmer's markets, health food store or even yellowpages!). They'll always have extra wax to sell and you'll get it at a good price.- cgrd

Driver Licence submission for tobacco orders
I suppose they're using it to prove both age of majority and residency so they don't get nailed by money hungry state taxmen? When I order from P&C they send me an email asking to me to accept any and all monetary charges levied by my government. That's what I get for being in Canada I guess. :)- cgrd

B&M/Drug store tobacco prices
Barkar, I'm sure it'll be that way across the country soon enough. Here in Manitoba, there's talk of tabling legislation that would prevent drug stores from selling any tobacco. You can still get OTC at the larger chain supermarkets. I picked up a 50gr pouch of Amphora Red for $25.- cgrd

Why Inhale?
I'll have a few french inhales while smoking, and usually just enough to get a nice sniffer full of that wonderful smoke. Occasionally my brain shuts off and attempts to inhale as if I was smoking a cigarette...it's fun, because my throat immediately closes up and my lungs decide it's time to...- cgrd
